Business Development Manager - Commercial Cleaning - £40k - £50k - Greater Manchester. An excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our National provider of Cleaning and Support Services. We are looking for a dynamic character to spearhead our growth across the North and Midlands and further expand our commercial team around them.

About the Client:

We are a national provider of Soft Services with our main two services being Cleaning & Security. We have clients across the UK mainly within the commercial sector. Due to a complete re-structure of our Business Development structure, we require an experienced Business Developer to lead our further push into the Northern & Midlands markets.

About the Role:

  • The role’s primary focus is on the generation of new, additional contracted and non-contractual sales for the continuing growth and success of the business
  • The position requires a professional, well-informed and consistent approach to both internal and external contacts
  • You will be focused on new business, networking with our very pro-active operations teams as well as our established Security Division
  • While the vast majority of the work will be focused on London and the South East there will be occasional national travel

About the Candidate:

  • Experience of selling 5 and 6 figure Commercial Cleaning contracts is essential
  • We are looking for someone that will become the spearhead of our new business drive throughout the North and Midlands and it will suit someone who would embrace this level of responsibility
  • You should have excellent commercial instincts and be a solutions based seller. We are not interested in selling on price
  • Working knowledge of the Commercial market within London and the South East is essential
  • This role will suit someone who would be comfortable with, and be a contributor to the further growth of our commercial team
