Business Development Manager - Roofing -  £40k to £45k - London.

About the Client:

Leading manufacturers and installers of high performance waterproofing systems using materials such as rubber modified, bituminous coatings reinforced with two polyester carriers. Ideally suited for use over traditional roofing membranes, such as asphalt and reinforced bituminous membranes. Applied in liquid form it is also particularly suitable for intricate detail work.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement an area business plan in conjunction with the National Sales Manager in order to achieve objectives and margin targets
  • Acquire new Clients and business in the refurbishment market
  • Develop relationships with End Users that own their premises
  • Provide site surveys, technical advice, guidance and prepare proposal specifications for prospective customers
  • Liaise with Area Sales Manager on the margin potential
  • Develop and maintain an effective project quote
  • Liaise and exchange information with Suppliers representatives
  • Co-operate with the relevant Head Office staff to ensure that customer service requirements are exceeded
  • Analyse market intelligence and report on competitor activity/information and advice on appropriate actions
  • Maintain customer-focused philosophy through a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • To implement company Safety policy at all times

About the Candidate:

  • Proven track record of at least 2 years roofing sales
  • Ambitious and wish to progress career with Market Leader
