Contract Manager - Grounds Maintenance - £30k to £35k - London. An excellent opportunity for an experienced Manager from the Grounds Maintenance industry to join our fast-growing business. Responsible for a portfolio of approx £1.5m covering South London and the Southern Home Counties you will have full responsibility for one of our most prestigious contracts. 

About the Client:

We are London's fastest growing provider of Grounds Maintenance and Communal Area Cleaning with an enviable reputation in our market for excellent service delivery and a proactive approach to understanding of our client’s needs. We work predominantly within the Public Sector and Social Housing markets with key clients throughout London and the South East. Due to our continued growth we require an experienced Manager to join us to look after one of our most prestigious clients. 

About the Role:

  • Full responsibility for £1.5m portfolio of sites
  • Management of mobile teams, scheduling, tipping routes and recruitment
  • Full P&L & SLA responsibility for contract
  • Sites across South London
  • This is a very autonomous role with minimal day to day management from board level

About the Candidate:

  • Prior experience of Management of Grounds Maintenance contracts is essential
  • You will have had experience of being a Contracts Manager in this industry
  • You will be comfortable with what will be a very autonomous role
  • You should have a solid understanding and knowledge of disposal routes throughout the region
  • You will be a strong leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
  • It is essential that you have experience of multi-site contract management and budgetary control of a contract of this size.
